Open Lectures

As a Community Impact University we engage with our local community. Throughout the year we have a programme of inspiring lectures through our Open Lecture Series, featuring world-renowned speakers from inside and outside of the University.   Lectures are open to the public and the majority are free of charge. Waterfront Gallery

Located on the stunning Ipswich Waterfront, our Gallery is an innovative exhibition space that offers a diverse arts programme, with a reputation as a significant contemporary venue in Suffolk. The gallery is a public facing space which continues to offer an innovative programme supporting the vibrant arts culture in the eastern region. If you’re looking to relax on the Waterfront our café Cargo Coffee and student bar Cult are both open to the public and are ideally located for catching up with friends, overlooking the beautiful marina. Dance the night away at a gig or tuck into some quirky food at Cult. Enjoy tasty local food from Cargo, or if you’re in a hurry pick up a takeaway hot drink from the coffee cart.
